    Why I built this

    Spaced repetition helped me learn Catalan and Spanish. Then the app I used shut down its community courses, and I lost thousands of words I'd studied.

    So I built one that works offline, with no subscription. The words are yours.

    Can I import my Anki deck?
    Not yet. Learn The Words has its own complete Spanish and Catalan courses, and words you already know quickly space out, so you won't be stuck on them.
    Is it really free?
    Yes. The app is free to download today, and there is no subscription.
    Is the scheduling the same as Anki's?
    Both use FSRS. In Anki you turn it on in each deck's options; here it schedules every word from the start, with nothing to set up.
    Can I use it offline?
    The app works fully offline. Your words and progress stay on your phone.
    Which languages can I learn?
    Spanish and Catalan today, with French, German, Italian and Portuguese on the way.
    Can I add my own words?
    Not yet. You learn from the course lists, from your first words to A2.
